Ingredients:
100 g flour
225 g dark chocolate
6 large eggs
200 g butter softened
70 g ground almonds
100 g sugar
Method
Chop the chocolate and cut the butter into small cubes.
In a saucepan, heat the chocolate over low heat and stir until melted. Remove from the heat and stir in the butter cubes. Stir until smooth.
Add the egg yolks one at a time to the chocolate mixture stirring strongly. Once you have added all the egg yolks add the flour, ground almonds and sugar.
Preheat the oven to 350 F and grease a 9 inch cake dish.
Beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt until peaks form. Gently add to the chocolate mixture.
Pour the batter into the cake dish and cook for about 30 minutes.
